Safety and risk in buying cars at auction
We don't hide risk — it's part of an honest product. This page shows what depends on us, what depends on you, and what we cannot guarantee.
What risks exist
- •A car may have hidden damage not visible in photos
- •Title may cause registration issues in the client's country
- •Delivery from a specific location may be more expensive than expected
- •Post-repair market price may shift
- •Repair may cost more than the reserve
- •Customs rules may change between bid and delivery
How we reduce risk
- •Mandatory lessons before the first bid
- •Lot verification checklists
- •Full-cost calculator
- •Manager review before executing a bid
- •Right to refuse a request with obvious risk
- •Transparent post-purchase statuses
What depends on the client
- •Stating the budget and goal honestly
- •Completing base lessons before bidding
- •Not pushing max bid 'on emotion'
- •Readiness to pay after winning
- •Accepting that some lots are better skipped
What we can't guarantee
- •The exact winning price — the auction decides
- •Profit from later resale
- •Absence of hidden defects not visible in documents or photos
- •Exact delivery dates to 100% — depends on ports and customs
Why max bid matters more than emotions
The most common beginner mistake — raising max bid 'just one more' under bidding pressure. This usually destroys the margin or pushes the deal into a loss. The course teaches how to compute max bid and stick to it.
What the course does not replace
BidBIDDERS Academy lessons do not replace individual legal, tax or technical advice for a specific vehicle. Before deciding to buy or sell, consult qualified specialists in your jurisdiction.
This service is not legal advice. Calculator results are indicative. Auction cars may have hidden defects. BidBIDDERS may refuse a request with obvious risk.
